Colonies averaging 8 frames of bees, stocked at about 2 colonies per acre, with border inspection timing planned in advance.

Placement timed to early bloom, with frost-protection water and wind machines kept clear of the colonies.

Higher stocking for less attractive bloom and wet Western Washington weather, placed between 5% and 25% bloom.

How it works

From estimate to bloom in four steps

  1. 01

    Send a free estimate request

    Fill out the non-binding Projected Hive Rental Estimate. It reserves nothing and costs nothing, and it lets us plan colonies, queens, trucks, and crews for your farm.

  2. 02

    Review your agreement

    We send the Pollination Services Agreement with your crop, acreage, dates, placement, and colony strength filled in for your review.

  3. 03

    Sign and reserve

    Choose full payment before delivery or 50% before delivery with the balance within 14 days of placement. Colonies are reserved in the order signed agreements and deposits arrive.

  4. 04

    Placement and removal

    We give 72 hours' notice before delivery, place colonies by row or grouped drops, record a signed placement receipt, and remove them at petal fall.

Graded colonies you can inspect

Every agreement states the colony strength in writing, and growers may sample at least 10% of colonies within 7 days of placement.

Documents are provided for review. Final terms are set in the signed agreement for each crop and season. Service is subject to final agreement and operational availability.
